Artists for Peace and Justice

Artists for Peace and Justice, founded by Paul Haggis in 2009, is overseeing the construction of the largest free secondary school in Haiti, the Academy for Peace and Justice. The Academy, which operates in partnership with the St. Luke Foundation, opened its doors to 400 students in October of 2010 and currently serves 2,200 students in grades 7-11. Artists for Haiti has provided funds for the construction of one and a half wings of the school, including classrooms for students in grades 9-11.
